Apartment come hostel building in OMR, Chennai

Area – 14,400 sq. ft

Located along the main IT corridor, the client wanted to develop a plan that could function as a hostel for the IT professionals and also double as an apartment complex if required.

The facade and the central lobby area are treated as perforated jalli walls to maximize the natural lighting into the spaces and at the same time acts as a privacy buffer from the main road.

Ground floor lobby opens out to a courtyard illuminating the space.Terrace floor holds the common amenities such as co-working spaces and the gym with a shaded frontal seating area facing the terrace garden utilizing the North facing site orientation.
